Why use an Electronic Cigarette?
An Electronic Cigarette (e-Cig) is an alternative designed for those over the age of 18 that still enjoy the sensation of smoking but wish to avoid the harmful effects of smoking tobacco or any other substance.

IT IS IN NO WAY INTENDED TO BE AN AID IN QUITTING SMOKING, NOR A NICOTINE REPLACEMENT THERAPY (NRT) ~ THAT'S WHAT PATCHES AND GUM PURPORT TO BE! ~ an Electronic Cigarette only effectively mimics and satisfies the Oral Fixation associated with smoking. Not Smoking a real cigarette as a result of using an Electronic Cigarette is simply a bonus, think of it more as "Changing Brands".

By replacing "cigarette smoke" with an odourless "smoke-like vapor", the e-Cig simulates: the feel of "smoke" in the mouth, the visible appearance of "smoke" on the exhale and the "hand-to-mouth" feel of holding a cigarette, along with following benefits:

How does it work?
Electronic Cigarettes use a self-contained battery powered atomiser to vaporise a flavored liquid (called e-Liquid) which produces the same sensation (throat hit & smoke-like vapor) of conventional cigarettes but without the carcinogens & chemicals of burning tobacco.

The user simply inhales on the Electronic Cigarette and this causes an air flow sensor to power up the atomiser via an inbuilt microprocessor. The liquid in the cartridge is slowly vaporised. An odourless vapor is exhaled which resembles "smoke" and dissipates quicky.

Note: This is Vapor NOT smoke as no burning has taken place to cause smoke.
 
What is in the Cartridge or e-Liquid?
The e-Liquid in a cartridge can be a mixture of tobacco flavorings / food flavorings and / or a combination of pharmacutical grade propylene glycol (PG) / vegetable glycerine (VG) and Nicotine. To avoid shortening the life of the atomiser, we do not recommend mixing any of our e-Liquids with other brands, additives or products.
 
What powers the device?
A rechargeable lithium ion battery. They do a great job but wear out faster than in other appliances due to higher performance requirements of an e-Cig and smaller battery size.
 
How long will they last?
It really depends on frequency of usage and how the product is cared for. Here are some real world figures:

TIPS:
 
Battery Charging
We recomend the purchase and usage of 2 chargers with 3 batteries in rotation. This will ensure never having to wait for a re-charge. The USB Charger is much slower, 5-6 hours to re-charge a battery compared to the AC charger which only takes 3-4 hours to re-charge a battery - or if available, try a USB passthrough battery when near a USB power source.
 
Refilling with e-Liquid
Using pre filled cartridges is not only expensive but some cartridges during the manufacturing process are not full (which can damage your atomiser). Also because of the cost of pre filled cartridges, many users try to use up every last drop but this only results in the expense of replacing damaged atomisers. For this reason, we also sell empty cartridges so you can determine which e-Liquid to use and how often.
 
Refilling with the use of an eye dropper is easy and saves $. Pop the Cartridge off and add as many drops as required to the liquid filter material (core).
 
Replace cartridge after approx 4 weeks use with a new one as the liquid filter material (core) in the cartridge will have lost its ability to absorb.
 
Prolonging Atomiser Life
A dry atomiser will shorten its life and at worst will burn itself out - destroying it. Keep the cartridge moist at all times and if at ANY time you taste a burnt taste, pop the cartridge off and fill it, also add a couple of drops of e-Liquid directly onto the atomiser - This will prolong its life.
 
Some Electronic Cigarettes will enter a self-cleaning period signalled by heating of the atomiser and the battery light continually flashing. If at anytime you see this, disconnect the battery to stop it cleaning the atomiser. This was an inbuilt feature in the electronics, determined when they were designed and only serve to severely reduce the life of an atomiser and supply a burning taste. So avoid if possible. Approximately triggered when the battery counter is in the vicinity of 1500 puffs and regardless of which atomiser is in the e-Cig.
 
Safety Cut-Off
If you inhale for more than 5-7 seconds, the safety mechanisms on some e-Cigs will stop the atomiser from overheating and the battery led will flash. Note: that the battery is not flat.
 
If you inhale less than 5 seconds and the led flashes - the battery may be going flat, it could be time to re-charge.
 
Storing e-Liquids
Keep e-Liquid in a cool dark place to prolong its life. It will stay fresh for approx 12 to 18 months.
